In previous posts, I have discussed the safe use of props when photographing newborns. Sometimes, where the baby’s safety cannot otherwise be guaranteed, props must be completely ‘photoshopped’ in afterwards and we use what are known as 'digital props'. I am often asked 'How much space do you need for a newborn baby photo shoot?', and 'Do I need to clear a room?'. I can actually manage in quite a small space, around 3mx3m is sufficient (more is obviously nice, but this is quite workable). I have a very natural style with my photography and I love to use natural products wherever possible. Today I have been busy making a very special little something for my newborn photo sessions - fluff!
